Kidde FE-13 Clean Agent Systems
Kidde FE-13 systems offer capability for a wide range of special hazards fire suppression applications. The high pressure nature of FE-13 makes it ideal for large, cluttered hazards which need an agent that can travel far from the nozzles and mix well in crowded conditions; it discharges in 10 seconds, totally flooding the protected area with a uniform extinguishing concentration. FE-13 can be used at low temperatures where other agents cannot go.
FE-13 is the safest clean agent available today. No other system can provide both the fire protection safety margin and personnel safety; FE-13 contains no chlorine, bromine, or iodine, and its ozone depletion potential is zero. It has low atmospheric lifetime that earned FE-13 an "Acceptable" rating from the U.S. EPA with no use retrictions.
